ADAQ Keen To Support Proposed Regional Dental School In Cairns

The announced $50 million funding commitment by both major parties towards a new James Cook University tropical dental school based at Cairns has received endorsement from the Australian Dental Association Queensland Branch. ADAQ president Martin Webb said a key benefit of the proposed tropical dental school was that graduates are more likely to stay in their region of training, thereby helping to overcome the chronic shortage of dentists in north Queensland..
